Editing SCSS with Brackets & Koala on Mac OSX
Posted on: September, 4, 2016, inMade a tutorial video on how to edit SCSS (Sassy CSS). I will be using Koala & Brackets on Mac OSX. They are both free applications for the Mac. I reference a color scheme I made previously for a client. You will see the process of copying the hex codes to my WordPress Theme’s SCSS file.
You will learn how to set up Koala to auto-compile your SCSS into regular CSS.
Brackets will be my code editor of choice. It is an open source editor with robust functionality. I also use an FTP extension called, eqFTP, to upload the CSS file to the hosting provider, and we will see the edits reflected on the website.
