My name is Jacob Louis. Welcome to my online portfolio. I live in Denver, CO, and I have been a web/graphic designer since 1999. I have worked on websites both locally and remotely. My work experience includes prepress graphic design, web development, 2D animation, video editing, and sound design in a freelance and team environment.
Most recently, I worked full-time as a pre-production graphic artist at Carolina Sewn Bag and Leather Co. (EBSCO Industries) near Asheville, NC. I worked on a team using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create layouts for proofs, vellums, die sheets, web images, custom typographic designs, and more.
Previously, I worked in the IT department for Kimmel & Associates in Asheville, NC. My responsibilities included working with a team of developers coding and debugging web applications in ColdFusion, PHP, mySQL, Jquery, HTML5, Ajax and CSS3. In addition, my job consisted of graphic design, video editing, and documentation.
I have also worked as an independent contractor for 10+ years in marketing and design. I communicate all over the world to identify the project goals, propose solutions, create mockups, and deliver impactful marketing packages. I enjoy helping businesses, friends and family blossom their brands while building my portfolio.
